MINT CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM

 

THIS MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM is the real deal. For my fellow ice-cream lovers who find store-bought ice cream too sweet, this is the perfect recipe. The mint cuts through the sugar without being too strong and the cream-to-milk ratio keeps this from being too oily like other recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 Cups Cream

  • 2 Cups Milk

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract

  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chunks

Instructions:

  1. Combine Cream, Milk, and Sugar together in mixing bowl and stir until sugar is dissolved

  2. Add Peppermint Extract to taste

  3. Turn on ice cream maker and pour mixture in

  4. Mix for 15 minutes

  5. Without turning machine off, add in Chocolate Chips

  6. Mix for 5 more minutes

  7. Serve with Mint Sprigs as garnish
